Brooch of silver gilt round tubes cut at angles and polished, in leaf form 1958 In the early days we could not afford gold so we made them in silver and gilded the final piece. Also, many early pieces were not hallmarked until a few years later.

In 1968 I was commissioned to design a Presidential Badge and Chain for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. The centrepiece is 18ct yellow gold tubes, representing molecular structure and melted edge a reference to funghi use. The enamelled centre was given a modern update.

The finished piece and of note, the City of London Arms are now made detachable on the top of the Badge as these Arms can only be worn within the City of London itself.
